I want to give a shout out to 1 of my best friends Tina who is a server here @ Carriage House. She makes sure to keep a check on all her customers. She also her other coworkers when they need help. Tina is a hard worker. Fantastic job Tina!!

I am absolutely blown away with this place. There are so many awesome things to say about The Carriage House that I don't know where to start... I'm going to just dive in! First, the location. The setting is gorgeous and absolutely screams WELCOME to our place. From the moment I stepped foot inside I was immediately covered in the warmest most welcome feeling. It didn't feel like a restaurant. It felt like exactly what it is, someone's former home that a new owner loves just as much. Speaking of the owner, what a privilege it was to meet him. He and his wife have done an outstanding job. You feel the love they have poured into this place. He is extremely knowledgeable about the history of the home and tells it in an attention keeping way. The staff! The amazing staff. What wonderfully happy people! And I mean happy, so happy they make you happy. Every single person I passed had the best attitude and smiled not because it was their job, but because they were happy to be there. Another compliment to the owners for properly training your staff. The food!! If you can ... Imagine sitting down to the memories of what your grandmother's Sunday meals tasted like. That's the best description I can give. I hope they get recognized for their fried chicken. It was delicious!!! Seasoned, breaded and fried to perfection. A must try! Tons of delicious desserts and ice creams. The house! You just have to experience it. If you are a history buff, this is your place! They have restored and revived the house. The decorations are beautiful and fun to just walk around and look at. This place is an experience I'd highly recommend! And it's budget friendly! They will be open for Thanksgiving and we're already planning our spot at the table!!

When you first walk in the atmosphere is like your at grandma's house you walk in and the smell of soul food. Made with love and passion, the food hits you like you would never believe, and I love it, and I know you will, too. My fiance had the picture shown. I had the ham, chicken macorani, and collards. She loved her food and mine was excellent as well would definitely come back.

This is hands down the best Southern home cooking buffet I’ve ever been to. From the food to the staff and waitresses, everyone is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The selection is massive—you won’t be able to try it all in one visit—but every single dish is cooked and baked to perfection.

We were passing trough George and got there 1 1/2 before they closed and they kept bringing fresh food until closing. The buffet is not huge but it has all you want and the food was really good. All in all it was a great experience hope we can go again. We were to busy eating to take more pictures.

I have been wanting to eat here for a while now, and it was not a disappointment! From the moment we drove up, it was an extremely pleasant experience. What a beautiful setting, just history and beautiful details of architecture to look at. One does not mind sitting on the front porch waiting for the short bit for sure, while the waitress readies your table. The staff were so welcoming. To the cooks...the food was absolutely fantastic! The biscuits were the best we have ever had, the pancakes delicious, everything was just absolutely a delight to eat! We will be back and so glad we finally decided to eat at this exceptional place! Thank you!

This place is absolutely amazing! OJ, the owner, is super nice; customer service is on point and all the food tastes absolutely delicious. My husband and I love this place; it's also very beautiful here. We highly recommend coming here; you won't be disappointed. McAndrew Travels YouTubers

Great family friendly spot with some down home country vibes. Fatback and collard greens is a must. Do not miss out on the fried chicken. Five big thumbs up for these guys and the awesome lunch they served after church.
